 Training

Human Factors (HF) and Crew Resource Management (CRM) training were introduced in the 1980s in response to evidence that accidents and incidents were being caused or partially caused by the attitudes and ignorance of individuals and organisations. The results of years of education and discussion have made the aircraft not only a safer place but also a more pleasant place to operate.

No single organisation has responsability for flight safety. The line of responsability runs straight down from national and international regulatory authorities through operators, engineers, operations personnel, aircraft cleaners and pilots.

The EASA/JAA now requires every employee involved in aircraft maintenance or flight operations to attend regular training courses on Human Factors, with a special module concerning Crew Resource Management for flight operations personnel.

Skytation’s team of qualified and experienced trainers can arrange both initial and recurrent training for your personnel, either in our facilities in Luxembourg or in your facilities (wherever that may be).

Skytation can also provide training and guidance on the following subjects also required by EASA/JAA/NAA/FAA regulations:

  • EASA/JAR requirements (JAR-OPS, JAR-FCL, Part-145, etc.)
  • Crew Resource Management (initial/recurrent)
  • Human Factors in Maintenance (Part 145)
  • Techniques for auditing (JAR-OPS, Part-145)
  • Company/MOE procedures (Part-145 only)
  • Dangerous Goods (JAR-OPS only)
  • Security training (JAR-OPS, JAR-FCL)
  • B-RNAV (JAR-OPS)
  • Biannual Flight Review (FAR)
